Code of Student Conduct
In partnership with the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access, the Dean of Students Office assists with the adjudication of alleged violations of the Anti-Harassment and Non-Discrimination Policy 1.2 and with issuing sanctions and educational interventions under the Code of Student Conduct. OEOA staff may also include charges from the Code of Student Conduct when investigating allegations of misconduct as outlined in Policy 1.2 (i.e. disorderly conduct, theft, damage to property, and/or failure to comply).
A Complainant involved in the OEOA complaint procedure will not receive a disciplinary sanction by the University for a Code violation (such as underage drinking), that is revealed during a report, unless the University determines that the violation was egregious (i.e. an action that places the health or safety of any other person at risk).
